Review on Cable Telecom HDMI - HDMI (TCG200F), 3 m, black by Micha Szymaski ᠌

I do not advise buying this product, there is nothing to praise here.

I have a 15 meter cable. From the output of the video card, both FullHD and 4K work, however, in both modes, artifacts sometimes slip (white or red dots, like ants run), but for the most part it shows normally. Reacts to lightning. As soon as the discharge is outside the window, the image disappears for a few seconds (FullHD mode). It happens for no apparent reason that the image starts to interrupt every now and then, you have to disconnect and reconnect the cable. In general, the cable does not work well, because of the length it becomes an antenna that reacts to all kinds of pickups, you can live with it somehow. HDR has not been tested. Does not work at all from PS4 output (image appears for a few seconds and then disappears) An active HDMI amplifier does not help (put both closer to the source and closer to the receiver). I think that the point here is not the cable, but the general ideology of building a media system. Do not try to transmit 4K UHD HDR over a copper HDMI cable at such distances, the signal is attenuated and subject to interference. Amplifiers don't help either. Use either optical or wireless HDMI. Yes, it's very expensive, but it's the only way to carry an HDMI signal over long distances. If you play on PS4, then it is easier and cheaper to hang it next to the TV on a bracket, for example Electriclight bracket KB-01-90

Pros
  • Looks thick, good quality
Cons
  • Works bad
