I ordered these three days ago and they arrived on time. My son came and installed it for me. Installation was easy and took less than an hour. In fact, it probably took longer to find the hairpin. We had to lower it two inches because we originally placed it too high on the wall. I have neck problems and this is the main reason for installing the monitor. I suggest that you are very sure of your location before setting it up. I took the height of the monitor and split it in half to determine where I want the mount to be centered. It only took minutes to fix the situation, but that meant drilling new holes. The mount uses three fairly long screws that provide adequate stability and security. I am very happy that my large monitor is installed outside my workplace. I am writing and as you can see in the attached picture I have a lot more wall space. When the arm is extended to its full length, the monitor is approximately 20 inches from the wall. The screen tilts up or down. The armrest works as advertised and it's fairly easy to adjust the armrest and monitor position. I use my monitor for watching movies and also for working on the computer, so I have to change it often. If you are not using the anti-theft padlock function, be very careful when adjusting the tilt of the monitor as you could lift it out of the locking slot. That's unlikely, but I felt like it was possible with the tilt adjustment. The only downside to the mount is that the monitor is almost 4 inches from the wall. In my case, however, it is not critical. I just wanted it to be a little smoother. Probably not realistic to expect this from such a device.
