Good luck finding something better. I observe.

**Update below** I know what you're thinking, I thought so too...it's an expensive solar panel and is it worth it? For me it's worth it. If you've seen portable solar panels and played around with them, you know they hit the mark in the quality department, the actual manufacturing department, and the actual portability department. When I received this SP200 I knew it was going to be thin, but it's even thinner than I expected. The panels are made of Sunpower elements, known in the industry as the most durable and best performing elements. The cable mounted to the plate is high quality and long enough for my needs so no need for an extension cord. I was planning on ordering just one of these due to the price, but now that I've used one my fingers are itching. Trigger for another so I can use them on my AC200P. I am currently using it for the AC50S and because the panel puts out so many watts the AC50S uses all the power available which is 122W! The transport of both devices is so compact that they hardly take up any space! I also challenged my kids (9yrs and 7yrs) to set it all up without my instructions and have never seen it set up before and they had no problems. It's all plug and play. Pros: Very thin and compact, one of these MC4 tools unfolds into a powerful array that makes it easy to detach the panels when you're done (they interlock so tightly that it's sometimes difficult to squeeze the little tabs together ). Some other panels on the market have USB ports or other available power options that come with the box. Panels with no connection to anything, I wonder if it can be that thin with that. **Update** Okay so I bought 2 more of these (don't tell my wife). I understand these panels are expensive, I doubt you'll find anyone who disagrees. I never thought I would buy 1 let alone 3 of these. What impressed me the most was their portability and compact design. I don't have a huge van or a lot of space to lug around large solar arrays; These 3 panels take up as much space as a folded blanket. Initial testing got me around 470 watts in 90 degree heat, and when the clouds rolled in I was still getting at least 100 watts. Very happy with these results.

Pros
  • Compatible with most solar panels
Cons
  • Has some quirks
