Blow the spark plug out of my Toyota Sequoia 4.7V8. Total repair time is about an hour. The TineSert kit is more expensive than cheap knurled inserts, but they work and won't come out. I have knurled inserts. It's still cheaper than pulling your head! The only problem is that with the deep bores on this engine, it's almost impossible to remove the landing cutter from the valve stem. Even with a magnetic tool, you won't be able to reach deep enough. The included screwdriver tool cannot unscrew the faucet because it has a seat cutter. I used a 3/8" extension 6" back. The matrix on the extension fits over the male square of the faucet and I was able to unscrew and remove the whole thing. Before you begin, make sure your plunger is all the way down. so you don't hit it Use plenty of grease on the tap to lubricate and catch the metal shavings, take out the tap a few times during the tapping process to clean the shavings and apply new grease. I used red Loctite on the insert although it doesn't specifically state it. Make sure you lubricate the liner installer. The insert only screws into the mount a few turns, this is normal. Insert and twist to lock in the head. Once it starts spinning, it's easier to stop and remove the tool so it doesn't fall into the cylinder.
