I have been using OTC tools for 50 years and this set is the quality I have come to expect from OTC. The puller legs are not very strong as they need to be thin enough to get into the seal without scratching the shaft. If the seal is stuck, try loosening it first rather than trying to pry it out with the puller's legs. Consider using adapters to gently squeeze and release the seal before pulling. Using this gasket installation kit is better than hammering the gasket in. I use this kit whenever I replace a gasket. The picture used wooden wedges to hold the puller firmly against the seal and also used a wrench handle so I could better feel the pressure required to pull the seal. The seal came out immediately.
