So far so good! The updated Mini turned out to be even better than we expected. It is absolutely pristine and although it was not in the original packaging, it looked like I had taken it out of a brand new Apple box. The barcode sticker said "iPad mini as is," which was alarming because I assumed the upgrade meant it had been refurbished. So far I can't find anything "as is" about it. Functionality and software work well. I can't even find a single scratch on this thing. But it was successfully configured and the sound works. Note: The screen is grainy only because it is an old, grainy image. The rest of the system and graphics look pristine.
