First off, it moves an incredible amount of air for its small size. At full speed, you'll feel the air at 6 feet with ease. The downside is that it's noisy, especially after it's been hacked. It was pretty quiet for the first week or two, like someone using a hair dryer in another room through a closed door. But it got to the point where it sounded like the hair dryer was in the room with you. To compound the problem, mine came with a cracked case so I had to refill the case with epoxy over the outlet. All in all, if noise isn't an issue, this is the cheapest fan that will move this amount of air. It can easily accommodate a small inflatable boat.
