My wife is constantly feeling chilly in the house and always asking me to ‘turn the heat up’. Well rather than spending money on the gas bill, I decided that this hoodie jacket would be the perfect thing to keep her warm.The jacket is advertised as being oversized’, but that’s not the case. I had ordered my wife a medium because I thought it would give her a lot of room for a sweater is she wanted to wear one. It doesn’t…it just fits. If I had it to do again, I’d order her one size bigger.The material is a cotton/poly blend that is very soft to the touch almost like a flannel. The fabric is a nice thickness….thick enough to keep you warm but thin enough to be able to move in. It’s good for a day in the 40’s but not much colder.The construction is decent. The seams are tight and buttons secure. I’m not a big fan of the attached hood. It looks out of place more like an afterthought. The fabric used in the hood is cheap.My wife does like her plaid hoodie and will get a lot of use out of it. It looks nice and is decently made. I just wish I’d gotten her a bigger size.
