Beautiful, but…. on my review.
I’m very happy with the size, very small, perfect for grinding up my senior dog’s pill. It’s gorgeous, too. Love looking at it. However, the grinding edge pestle has a different shape than the interior bottom of the mortar. I have to keep shaking the pill pieces to the very center to be able to fully crush the pill because that’s the pestle’s only crushing range. Not sure what was in the designer's mind on this.
- Handmade: Each set is unique because of its handmade design. Thus, it makes a great gift for someone special.
- The small size may limit the amount of spices or seasonings that can be crushed at once
