Ignore the stock Toyota wiring harness colors when installing

I needed to replace the stock AM/FM cassette radio in my 2000 Toyota Corolla. I'm glad I chose this JVC product. Installing the Scosche TA02BCB wiring I bought from her was easy. I was a bit confused because when I removed the old radio the stock female harness adapters behind the dash have a bunch of clashing colors compared to the new male. strap adapter. DO NOT OBSERVE THE COLOR OF TOYOTA'S STANDARD CABLES. I tested the old female wire harnesses with a multimeter and found that the wiring position is indeed correct. Simply plug Scosche plugs into standard Toyota sockets and connect the same color wire as shown to the JVC plug. Works perfectly. Switching on and setting up is easy if you follow the instructions, although some JVC units don't have all the menu items suggested in the manual. The Bluetooth pairing with my cell phone works great and my USB stick with MP3 music files started playing immediately. Very good!
