They work for me. I walk and visibility is critical to me when crossing the street or when icy sidewalks force me to walk down the street toward traffic. This short daylight time of year is the most difficult and I go with lights and reflective gear as much as the weather permits. advertised options do not work, even expensive ones from branded sellers. As long as they're great. The fit is comfortable, although I took the reviewer's advice to increase the size. I live in New England with relatives in Minnesota and have used them in both locations now in my teens and 20's and am very pleased with the warmth and comfort factor. The best feature is safety - highly visible, reflective. When walking along the side of the road at night, you may see oncoming traffic picking you up on the lane or as far in front of you as possible. Just what you need in the dark season to stay safe. Good for you and good for drivers. Love the fact that they are also advertised as waterproof but I have no experience yet. Wet gloves are annoying and take a long time to dry. If they stick to their requirements, that's an added bonus. The price is insanely reasonable considering the features in my opinion. Recommended, but one size larger.
