I'm new to triathlon, I choose category 1 because I read it's for heavy legged swimmers like me. Everything was a first time, the first time in a wetsuit, the first Olympic distance in a new place, and then the Wolaa was almost 7 minutes better than expected. I was recommended size S/M but I bought size M which fits my measurements. I think I did the right thing. So I recommend choosing a larger size if it fits your measurements. I must add that it is thin, torn 2 times but that may be due to my incompetence, be careful when putting it on. Getting out was easy. A zipper at the back and a long strap make the process easier. Before closing, I paid attention to the neck so that water does not enter. I wore it with a trisuit and didn't use baby oil or petroleum jelly and nothing happened, not even redness.
