Quick release ankle cuffs allow the triathlete to remove the suit effortlessly in T1. Speed Wrap Paneling placed throughout the leg, chest and core raise the swimmer in the water to reduce form drag.

Excellent wetsuit with all features

An excellent wetsuit that does the job. I have only used level 1 in my life and am satisfied. The best return on your money. CUT YOUR NAILS and be careful not to snap when putting them on!

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Solid suit best in watersports

So far so good. Have used it several times, including at the Olympic triathlon. Big test in Ironman CDA with much colder sea temps, we will post another review later. Very buoyant, easy to turn on and off. Such wear, as noted in some other reviews, was not observed. Fits well, 6'1 195 got XL. So far very happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Minor issues

Unexpected performance, trendy look

I'm new to triathlon, I choose category 1 because I read it's for heavy legged swimmers like me. Everything was a first time, the first time in a wetsuit, the first Olympic distance in a new place, and then the Wolaa was almost 7 minutes better than expected. I was recommended size S/M but I bought size M which fits my measurements. I think I did the right thing. So I recommend choosing a larger size if it fits your measurements. I must add that it is thin, torn 2 times but that may be due to…

Very good product. Especially for the money

This suit was perfect for what I needed. It was a great price, it didn't bind at all when sailing. In fact, I wasn't even thinking about it when the gun went off. The fit was perfect, but maybe I got lucky. My body doesn't fit in any of the charts and I can easily order several different sizes depending on the make and model. I'm 5ft 10, 175 (for three seasons), but I have a 32" waist and a 43/44" chest, so things rarely fit my chest and waist. I chose the large one and it was perfect. WORD…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Terrible guarantee from Revain. Defective product and return period expired.

Fits great and satisfied at first. Today I put on a wetsuit for the second time. I asked a friend to shut me up and they couldn't. The zipper got stuck and lost 2 prongs at 2/3 of the way up. According to tyr.com, the warranty is one year. However, Amazon only gave me 5 or 6 weeks right of return. Since that window of opportunity has expired, I now have a wetsuit that I cannot use. I ordered it on April 1st and according to the returns center this window expired on May 8th. Revain says I cannot

Great wetsuit, looks like a pro

I have done 2 races in this suit - both in winter (California winter - maybe that doesn't count?) where the water temp was under 50 / high 40 as reported by the directing race. Of course your hands and feet will be so cold you won't feel them, but I've never been freezing in a suit. I think once the race starts the adrenaline comes with the effort and you warm up. The suit is very buoyant - I weigh 160 pounds and allowed me to swim in an upright position in fresh water. During the actual swim…

Tear prone Good for sport

Good to very good fit and buoyancy, especially in the legs, but VERY tear prone. The most serious tear in the suit, a 6-inch cut down the right shin, occurred after his first outing in the 2014 Spring Triathlon. Unfortunately I didn't notice the break until another cold water event was required a little over a year later. At that point the warranty had just expired so the kind folks at TYR couldn't replace the suit but they sent me a free repair kit which was nice. water competitions and maybe…

Great suit as advertised

I bought Category 1 because I got into triathlon last year and started to take my training/competition more seriously. This wetsuit was advertised as an "entry-level wetsuit" combining functionality and economy. While I'm definitely an amateur triathlete, a wetsuit is a must when triathlon (especially in cold open water). First, the suit is true to size. I'm taller than the average triathlete (6ft 185lbs) so the size Large fits me perfectly. If you have never used a wetsuit I would suggest…

  • Everything great!
