I bought this to bypass the brakes (along with the relay) on a Pioneer AppRadio 1 that I have installed in my company car. It works 90% of the time, the other 10% I haven't determined if this is an issue with AppRadio or TR7. I'm not deducting a star for that, as it's not enough for simple troubleshooting. What I will complain about: - Programming. Of course, if you just want the standard Alpine program, this should be easy. But when you have to program it to turn on and off with a delay, it's a pain in the butt like hell. You have to ground that damn brown wire countless times, know the exact sequence to expect it to signal back, and hope damn well you don't make a mistake or it gets reprogrammed. turn off auto program. I had quick disconnects on every wire and disconnected everything but power/ground, but for some reason I could only do this from the battery on my workbench. I even used the same grounding point as the device. Made life just a little more painful. Luckily the price is right for this item, otherwise I would have given it 3 stars. They also sell a programmable laptop version, but it's significantly more expensive.
