Adheres to HDPE plastic!

The aerobic platform I had didn't have the best traction on the surface so I was hoping to find the right traction band. The trick is to find something that will bond well to the plastic material HDPE (high density polyethylene). It turns out that the glue for this product sticks to HDPE very well! I taped duct tape to the platform and pressed it down with a rubber roller. I don't expect it to peel off at all. Very beautiful! For those curious, the aerobic platform I had had plastic ribs on top for the grip (you can see the ribs on the side where the grip tape didn't reach). To get the most out of the tape I used a sharp chisel and a hand planer (used for woodworking) to remove the burrs to give a flat surface. It took a while but it turned out really well in the end!
