I needed 6 low 'tables' for easy use in my kindergarten, study stations and snacking. I couldn't afford to pay a large amount for a table so I ordered a number of bedside tables to see if they would suit my needs. The bedside tables arrived well packaged, undamaged, with all the parts and the pre-drilled holes were in the right places. Assembly was easy, but the screws must be tight or the device will wobble sideways. I've had chairs that were basically the same height as the bedside table. The shelf is ideal for storing books, puzzles or toys that students will use on the top surface. I ordered non-slip cutting boards to protect the surface. I would have preferred a taller block - around 19 inches - but a 16.5 inch height would work. Overall, I'm happy with this affordable 6-light desktop chassis.
