I grew up with Fiskar scissors. I always knew my mom's orange scissors were reliable. I was hoping I could find a light purple or lavender glitter or even a pale pink glitter to match my office desktop theme. I read other reviews that said they ordered teal but got pink. To be honest I didn't care if I got them but I wanted something more turquoise and I got exactly what I ordered. They fit exactly as I remembered Mom. But when I open and close them, they don't make a harsh noise. They work fine. You are a pair of scissors. The handle is solid and cuts paper as intended, but I like the sound of good sharp scissors and these just didn't do the trick. In general, this isn't a problem, just a weird feature. Take her. You will not be disappointed.
