Review on 🍦 200 Artlicious Wooden Popsicle Craft Sticks - Standard Size, 4.5 inch by Nicole Mcleod

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for frozen treats. No woody taste, no splinters

They arrived well packaged in a thin box. Since I had three extra bananas, I used them right away. Some popsicle sticks do that. They're strong enough to hold half a banana after it's frozen and smooth enough to lick off any leftover chocolate or fruit when you get to the stick. 1) Peel the bananas and cut them in half. 2) Insert the chopsticks halfway while holding the banana with your other hand. 3) Place the bananas on a larger piece of parchment or saran wrap, in a tray and cover. 4) When frozen (this may take an hour or two). , bring in and sprinkle with quick-hardening chocolate. For convenience, I used Smucker's Magic Shell, which is liquid at room temperature and solidifies within minutes of contact with frozen bananas (or ice cream). There are some great recipes for liquid chocolate, dark chocolate, on the internet. If you want to add nuts or coconut flakes, stir them into the chocolate first, otherwise it will freeze too quickly and the nuts won't stick. 5) Put them back in the freezer to harden. If you plan to wrap them individually, wait until the chocolate is completely frozen, then wrap and place back in the freezer. Mmmm.

Pros
  • 4.5" long
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price
