Review on 🎧 ROOFULL 192KHz Digital-to-Analog Audio Converter: SPDIF Optical to RCA & 3.5mm AUX Stereo Adapter for PS3/4 DVD HDTV Headphone by Nicholas Lim

I have a LG webOS UK6500AUA TV. The only additional audio output is an optical TOSLINK connector. This optical port connects to my Signia® StreamLine TV adapter, allowing me to stream TV audio directly to my hearing aids. I bought an optical cable splitter to connect the "optical output" cable from the TV to the splitter and then route the signal to both the StreamLine TV adapter and the ROOFULL Digital to Analog Audio Converter so I can send audio to my (vintage) Yamaha home theater sound system. (See the attached image for the connection diagram. The sound went through the hearing aids very well, so I knew the splitter worked.) Unfortunately, no sound went through the ROOFULL converter. I have tried many different RCA cables. I even tried the headphone jack on the ROOFULL to no avail. (I plugged in my headphones and unplugged the RCA cables before testing.) I have confirmed that the digital audio on the LG webOS TV is set to PCM as recommended in the instructions. And yes, I tried connecting the ROOFULL directly to the TV (without using a splitter) with the same result: no sound through the Yamaha home theater system. Roofull's support team was very polite and accommodating. They even promptly sent a new block with the same results as reported above. I was told that both green LEDs on the DAC should be lit, one for AC and the other for optical. None of these devices gave a second, all-important green light. They allowed a refund and expressed deep regret and suggested I try another DAC. I found another DAC where a user specifically mentioned the LG webOS TV UK6500. This unit works. There has to be something about LG TVs that Roofull doesn't like. I really wish it would work because Roofull's support team was very polite and helpful.
