My '99 Mustang came with an audio system with two boxes - tape recorder/radio unit (master) and CD player (slave). I took both out and installed a new secondary player using this harness adapter. After I removed all the wires from the master to the slave, there were two adapters in the car that easily connected to the two adapters that came with it. Product.
