Review on GYMBee by Jim Cronin

GYMBee's Resistance Bands were not satisfactory to the reviewer.

After reading a number of glowing reviews of GYMBee's resistance bands, I was eager to give them a try because I am someone who enjoys working out in their own home. Unfortunately, my experience with their items has not been very satisfying. I would not recommend them. Despite the fact that the bands themselves appear to be of a satisfactory quality, I've discovered that the resistance they offer is insufficient for the purposes of my workouts. The bands don't provide enough of a challenge for my muscles, even when I use the maximum resistance setting, and they feel too easy to use. In addition, I've had problems with the resistance bands slipping and sliding when I'm working out, which is both aggravating and distracting. I've experimented with shifting the position of the grips and using a variety of them, but nothing seems to be working. Last but not least, despite the fact that GYMBee promotes the durability and longevity of their products, I've already observed signs of wear and fraying on the bands after only a few uses. This gives me cause for concern because it makes me think that the bands won't be able to withstand the test of time. My experience with the resistance bands sold by GYMBee was, on the whole, less than satisfactory. My requirements were not met, and the product did not live up to the expectations that were set for it. However, they may work for other individuals.

Pros
  • Products that are hardy and have a lengthy life span
Cons
  • Having some trouble staying on my feet throughout workouts
