My daughter is 11 years old, she is a bit tall for her age, size 42 pants fit her very well, so we have two pairs of khaki pants. I love that they aren't low-cut so she doesn't have to worry about showing her underwear when she bends over. I would describe them as high waisted, perfect for prep school kids who run, swing and do everything else in these pants. I really wish they had double knees, but given the price it's not entirely surprising they don't.
