Satisfied! Detailed review with photos!

AESTHETICS just installed and I'm very happy with the rainbow. Even on a cloudy day like today, I can predict when the sun will come out to play with the colors. That's joy. (Note: All windows in my apartment face south.) I notice a combination of shadows and rainbows that matches the shape of the decals. Not sure why but I suspect it's because of the double panels, one of which has a UV filter? But I'm not a physicist. I was nervous about the actual aesthetic of the film on my windows as I really like the view from my windows. So I decided to stagger the film in a triangle pattern. I like the way it looks, but there are definitely some messes in some places that I couldn't apply (but I didn't follow all the instructions fully, so it's my fault). APPLICATIONS One of my panels is by far the best. the one I started with. I had a slight learning curve. I used to put decals on walls so I started by sticking them on and then tried spraying some soapy water underneath. But the tape gets wet and falls off. In the end I just peeled them off the paper backing and glued them to the wet window by hand. I also went through a trial and error process to replace my broken wiper. In the end, I found the DVD case worked best. The second panel has a large air bubble that I must have missed and is a bit of an eyesore. But this panel was more successful. I arranged the pieces around the space first, glued them together, and then moved them to the board below to keep things organized. It really sped up the process. You definitely need to flood the window. I found that while working from the bottom up, I had to repaint as I neared the end. measure and cut) to arrange them in a checkerboard pattern. I did this to logically cover the room (one sheet just isn't enough to cover two panes) and also so I can see the beautiful forest beyond my window. I had quite a bit left, so I also covered the center of the tailgate window (7 x 11.5"). I have another 17 x 4.5" strip that I'll leave for a while until I figure out what to do with it. why I chose this one and not the more popular radial film). I won't try!) I'm pretty lucky, especially since my only windows face south, so I wasn't sure if the sun would come in.
