Installed Not Working
A new one was installed. A short to ground was detected during testing and only 0.01 VAC was generated at 3500 RPM. The knock sensor for a 1997 Honda Civic should read about 1.5 volts AC at 3500 RPM. So, knock sensor code P0325 will not be cleared. The wiring and ECU on the vehicle were carefully checked and were not defective. As tempting as it is to buy such a cheap knock sensor, spend the money on a real one instead or you'll have to do the job all over again.
