This watch was purchased for use at work, hung on my work vest. I made my purchase decision based on product claims and reviews. The watch is easy to read and seems to tell the time well. However, after wearing the watch for 6 months, the back cover came off during operation and two buttons fell out. One was found, the other was hopelessly lost. Dakota says they place a high value on craftsmanship. I don't think that's true. The back of a stainless steel watch should never simply spring back. It should only be torn off by prying it open with a suitable tool. The quality does not correspond to the declared "high quality". My Casio lasted 30 years before the lights finally went out. I thought Dakota would be a suitable replacement. I was wrong. The watch is "guaranteed to keep accurate time for five years. External parts like body, glass, etc. are not covered.” Shame on Dakota for that. Sending it in for repair costs the price of a new watch. I think I'll buy another Casio instead. Edit to add: the second button fell out while standing yesterday. One star rating change. Very poor quality despite the fact that the body feels heavy.
