I am subjectively happy with the purchase up until the point where I think about how much it cost. It would appear that Samsung skipped over one generation of its flagship devices, as they immediately introduced the S9 rather than the S8. The increase in feelings is particularly noticeable when compared to the levels experienced in earlier years. There was a rumor going around on April 1 that Samsung would prank-release the S8 small. You know, if this wasn't a prank, I would have waited and then purchased it when it was on sale. And lastly, some words of wisdom. If you now use an Android smartphone and plan to upgrade to a flagship model in 2022, you should consider purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S8 when its price has been reduced by at least a couple of months. If you already own an iPhone, you should hold off purchasing the next generation model until the fall. There is no new Android chip that can mitigate the negative effects of the new operating system.
