They're not perfect because they're dimmable and controlled right on the night light, you can direct how much light they put out. It's brilliant and a feature that sets it apart. I will be replacing all my night lights with these. I convert all the lighting to 5000K to match my other lighting. On the other hand, the color rendering index (CRI) is very poor. In other words, it goes well with blue, but yellow and warmer colors look boring. I think Nightly doesn't need a high CRI, but it would be a bit nicer if it did. And that's why they actually seem cooler than the 5000K.
