Review on Unlocked Refurbished Apple iPhone ๐Ÿ’ป XR (64GB, Black) - US Version by Mohd Arif แ Œ

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

In general, very satisfied. The aesthetics of the device is impeccable - it is pleasant to hold in your hands. The size is convenient (the smartphone is smaller than Note 8), the battery holds very well. The sound quality during a call is something much louder and clearer than on Note 8. I'm waiting for eSIM support in 2022. Some pros: I took Note 8 as a replacement. For 1.5 years, I encountered a lot of problems on this Samsung device, so the following was needed from the new device: 1. Stability. So that a random application from the market (or an ated old one) does not interfere with the operation of the device, as it happened to me many times on Android. 2. The possibility of a normal backup and normal recovery of the device from the cloud or from another device. On Android, this is nominally there, but in fact it works crookedly, restoring only a part of the settings (and almost all applications just download from the market without restoring the data in them). 3. Screen. Not OLED. After a year and a half of using Note 8, it was simply painful for me to look at the screen against a more or less light background. The navigation buttons, statusbar, app navigation bar (top), YouTube video area burned out on the screen, and the keyboard was completely imprinted. 4. Flat glass. Rounded screen edges are evil. Firstly, they are useless and sometimes even get in the way due to accidental clicks. Secondly, glass is not glued to them (you can read the reviews). With glasses, a very critical moment, because if they are not used, after some time a hole in the oleophobic coating will form in the keyboard area due to the swipe. The finger stops slipping, dirt collects. 5. Normal curated app store. Firstly, almost all Samsung applications, with rare exceptions, are just rubbish. Samsung Account, which should be analogous to iCloud, is completely opaque and useless. As a result, I have to demolish all this and use Google applications, which I also didnโ€™t like in many ways, but everything is pretty bad with alternatives on Android - if they exist, they donโ€™t integrate with the system in any way, many cool applications are simply abandoned by developers (because for them nobody pays). The set of applications itself is much inferior to iOS. For example, on Android, there are no beautiful Bear and Notability, which I have been using for a very long time on the iPad Pro. In this regard, the XR is exactly what I was looking for. Its cons: Among the shortcomings, I can note the following: 1. Lack of original covers except for the terrible transparent one (I decided to buy a Chinese silicone case made under the original one). 2. The lack of a second camera for portrait shots of any objects (the only thing missing after Note 8). 3. The absence of an adapter for a 3.5mm jack in the kit (there is no excuse for this). 4. Lack of the 3.5mm jack itself. It's on both my 2022 MacBook Pro and 2022 iPad Pro, but for stupidly contrived reasons, it's not on the iPhone. 5. The lack of fast charging in the kit (this is simply a contradiction of the public position of Apple itself, which has been assuring everyone since the 80s that it would not sacrifice user experience for the sake of additional profit). This minus is objective, but in my case it is not relevant, since thanks to the presence of the iPad Pro and MacBook Pro, I have as many as two fast charges. Plus, the iPhone and iPad can be charged from the MacBook's USB C port, just like charging a MacBook, i. E. very fast. 6. It is difficult to find normal protective glasses. Some do not stick normally, others interfere with covers, others interfere with the operation of sensors. In my case, it took three glasses to change. And still auto-brightness and the proximity sensor began to work worse.
