I recently ordered a different brand tripod from Amazon and couldn't resist the retail price of $15. It arrived and was a disaster - flimsy, couldn't support my phone etc. I packed and sent it back same day and chose this tripod instead. I'm so glad I spent the extra money - this tripod is RELIABLE. The remote even comes with an extra battery, and the Bluetooth connection to my phone is fast. The shutter release takes a picture immediately – without delay. My iPhone 12 Max Pro fits (it has a skinny otter) but probably fits more securely outside of a case. This tripod even included a storage bag. To be honest I can't say enough good things about this purchase - it was one that turned out to be better than you expected.
