I bought this turbo manifold (mouthpiece) for my LLY Duramax hoping to open up the throttle inlet. The move to a secondary intake duct on these trucks offers fewer turbocharging restrictions, lowers exhaust emissions and increases airflow on the inlet side of the turbocharger. ) were significantly reduced. We just towed our 7,000 pound trailer to and from Walport, Oregon and never drove over 1200 degrees Fahrenheit during the trip.
