This case fits my key fob/alarm perfectly. I had the original factory that came with my car in 1998 and the plastic ring on top holding it broke. I ordered it and am impressed that it fits like a glove. It was very easy to disassemble my old case, take out the small motherboard and battery and just plug them into the new case. Tools are not required. I just used a dime to pry open the old case (or a small flathead screwdriver is enough to pry open the old case). Every button works great on the new case and works the same as the old one. I'm very glad I ordered this and my car alarm has keyless entry again!
