Perfect for my 2000 Toyota 4-Runner

Important: Only remove the circuit board and battery from the old key fob, not the rubber seal. Your new key fob case has a new gasket/gasket. If it doesn't fit perfectly with all the buttons, it's possible that the rubber boot is upside down. I made both of those mistakes, but once I figured out my custom error, everything fell into place just fine and all the buttons worked like new. I couldn't be happier with it.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT

I purchased this remote keyless entry for my 2002 Toyota Avalon. The bottom hook broke and I needed a new one. I went to a Toyota dealership and the case was $110 and the interior had to be programmed for my car. The cost for this is $89.00. I saved a lot of money! Hooray! It's very easy to replace. Just pull the inside out of the old one and put it in the new one. Simply press down and align, then replace the cap. It was very easy. I also changed the battery. Please save some money and buy…

Good product inside

As the saying goes, a device is just a shell that you open. I found it easier to use a small standard flathead screwdriver to pry open the sinks. Then all you have to do is move the motherboard from your old key fob to this new key fob. The buttons had a tendency to slip and fall out if you weren't careful, but with a little attention it's easy to put everything back in place. Then simply connect and check. I bought two. The first fit perfectly. I had a little more trouble with the second when…

Verified Purchase At this extremely low price I highly recommend this item as a replacement for your original Toyota unit. My keychain wore out the keyhole and broke my original Toyota remote and this OEM version looks like it will hold up for some time. Easy 5 minute setup from transferring my old components to the new block. Simply pop open the old key fob with a coin and CAREFULLY mark the orientation of the old circuit board and buttons on either side to avoid installing the circuit board…

This case fits my key fob/alarm perfectly. I had the original factory that came with my car in 1998 and the plastic ring on top holding it broke. I ordered it and am impressed that it fits like a glove. It was very easy to disassemble my old case, take out the small motherboard and battery and just plug them into the new case. Tools are not required. I just used a dime to pry open the old case (or a small flathead screwdriver is enough to pry open the old case). Every button works great on the…

Save that money! in home accessories

I had a nice key ring in my desk drawer and the only problem was that the key loop was broken. Bought this case hoping to fix it. When he arrived I got everything done in about five minutes. I ended up having to buy a battery, but the inside of my old key fob fit easily into the new key fob. You may need a toothpick or something small and flimsy to pry out the old innards and insert into the new keychain. My other suggestion is to transfer the rubber buttons labeled "Lock/Unlock" to a new key…
