Without a doubt, this razor will give you the smoothest shave of your life. However, I was quite dismissive of people who talked about the "learning curve" in other reviews, thinking they were just whiners. Well I was wrong. This razor definitely takes some getting used to. Thing is, I don't consider this my favorite razor. Maybe after I get used to it a bit, but that's not all. I give it 5 stars because it does EXACTLY what it promises. This will undoubtedly give you the smoothest shave you've ever had. The build quality is amazing. The finish is excellent. The weight is fantastic. However, the head seems a bit large and requires you to come up with a new way to get under the nose. I started shaving with it a few days ago and I'm on level 3 now. My kids are so amused at how smooth my face is compared to what they've been complaining about for the last ten years when I curl up and secretly kiss them to sit down. there and just run down my cheeks. So I would definitely recommend this for new or future dads who will be kissing the baby a lot.
