Nothing special, just regular memory with a backlight. It is recommended that you go with G. Skill or Geil of a frequency that is comparable if you are going to take it with a margin. I was forced to replace it with another Corsair, but this time it had a claimed frequency of 4000 MHz (in the end, I was still unable to meet the requirements). Some pros: 1. Accurately takes the frequency that was declared. 2. There is a narrow window of opportunity for overclocking. With these drawbacks: 1. The timings appear to be as follows at a frequency of 3000 MHz, which is the standard: 16-17-17-35. It's possible that this is the result of some sort of interaction with the MP Asus Crosshair Hero VII WiFi. 2. When utilizing several lighting control programs, there is a possibility that the backlight of one of the plates will switch off.
