Good screw for working with decking

Please see my review and photos of CAMO Marksman Pro Concealed Decking Tool for more details. I'm a DIYer, not a professional, so my opinion is based on a do-it-yourself perspective. As already mentioned, screw manufacturers prefer to place Torx bits at the bottom of the screw pack. Instead of digging into 1750 screws I bought two extra bits and decided to use those bits instead of digging around. However, I have used a bit for all my work. So if you don't mind digging into the underside of the screws, the two provided should be sufficient for most decking jobs. (-1/2 stars) The overall quality of the screw itself was excellent, and I didn't experience any loosening of the screw head. They cut well into the PVC sheets I use and fit into the joists with no play. I bought some color-matched proprietary coated screws from the "big store" to screw in the bezel and they didn't hold up as well as these screws. I also bought some stainless steel trim screws from my local hardware store for trimming, and they were scrap and snapped off whenever you came across real wood (so my approval is based on a comparison to other screws actually used on the project). Just in case. You cannot see on your screen that these screws are GREEN. The color doesn't matter as they reset automatically. These screws are designed to automatically eject the material and they did a pretty good job, but I still found myself using a box cutter to trim excess board material out of the hole to give it a more finished look . They are designed for use with the Camo Marksman Hidden Deck Attachment Tool. I've only used them with this tool, so I can't comment on their performance or standalone use. So I recommend this system and it has worked well for me. Can't give 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5.
