Description of Camo Edge Deck Screws ProTech Fasteners : Screws

Screws secure deck boards through their edge directly to the joist for a fastener-free deck surface. Edge Deck Screws have a rake tip that augers material out which reduces splitting and cracking. ProTech coated Edge Deck Screws are ideal for treated lumber, composite, capped composite, and PVC. 1-7⁄8-inch Edge Deck Screws are recommended for boards 3⁄4-inch to 1-inch thick. Covers approximately 100 sq ft. Use Edge Deck Screws with Pro, Pro-X1, Pro-NB, and Edge Guides.

I liked the goods - I didn't like the delivery

I purchased this product for three projects, one of which I started when I found out the product would be delivered due to shipping information. It was raining and I wanted to remove the wood (village path) so I could install and sand and seal the boards before the rain came here. The product arrived two days late, the box was only a third full, and the special bits that SHOULD be used with the CAMO tool (the bits have a shoulder that prevents the screws from digging into the wood) , were not…

Good screw for working with decking

Please see my review and photos of CAMO Marksman Pro Concealed Decking Tool for more details. I'm a DIYer, not a professional, so my opinion is based on a do-it-yourself perspective. As already mentioned, screw manufacturers prefer to place Torx bits at the bottom of the screw pack. Instead of digging into 1750 screws I bought two extra bits and decided to use those bits instead of digging around. However, I have used a bit for all my work. So if you don't mind digging into the underside of the

Looks great, easy assembly, very durable

Having cut my feet on other decking fixings (nails and screws) as a kid, I liked the idea of a hidden fixing system that made it easy to remove individual boards into the future. With other fastening systems I've seen, you'd have to grab a lot of boards to get to the damaged one, but this method of pushing the screws into a small gap seems to work beautifully. I bought a cheaper template because I did the work myself. . I managed to get down 500 square meters. ft. 5/4x6 boards in about 30 hours
