Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Niji Waterbrush by Yasutomo KWB09 - Small - High-Quality Portable Brush for Watercolor Techniques by Doris Tran

Revainrating 5 out of 5

wearable, high quality, very fine tip

I was on a 3 week trip recently and took this and another Niji water brush flat 12mm. I ended up using this brush every time and it has traveled great with me across Europe without a single problem/leak. The pointed tip worked very well for this type of work. I use Derwent Inktense Pencils and the darker colors stain the tip of the brush but that wasn't a problem, I didn't see any color transfer to the lighter colors and when I just paint with water the water comes out clear. a bit difficult to fill its tiny hole but once filled it lasts a long time and doesn't leak. To get water, gently press the tank and a small drop of water will come out. It's really neat. I usually put the first drop of water on my hand to check how wet the brush is before applying ink. This water brush is inevitably a carry-on and I find myself reaching for it even when I'm not traveling. because it's not a purge and I don't have to set up a whole station to draw some sketches.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some insects
