Review on πŸͺ‘ JEEF Titanium Folding Stool - Lightweight, Portable, and Sturdy Chair for Picnic, Camping, Hiking, Backpacking, and Traveling by Jay Buford

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm not sure why anyone would pay real $$ for this.

Contrary to some reviewers, I wasn't surprised at how small these stools are. I looked at the measurements, said "What?" to myself and looked at the reviews. (I especially liked the picture with the captions "compared to a small cat" and "...the cat is even smaller".) So yeah; these things are just a few inches better than sitting with your butt on the floor. And they're not exactly comfortable; If you don't sit properly, one of the bars will dig into your buttocks. But still, the one I have is useful to me. I'm recovering from back surgery and wanted to take my dog for a walk on our favorite forest trail. Sitting down every once in a while helps a lot. Aside from being bizarrely tiny, these things cost a lot. I don't think titanium grows on trees, and if they do, they're very expensive trees. I got mine for free through the Vine program, but who the heck spends $70 on one of these stools? People who love ultralight hiking and hiking come to mind, but wouldn't it be even more "ultralight" to just use a comfortable log or rock to sit on? If I hadn't expected the stool to need it within a relatively short period of time (and if I wasn't a cheapskate), I would have got hold of one of the many much cheaper and probably much more convenient alternatives like this one for just one example.
