Ideal for small spaces. It's exactly 6 feet tall and the measurements were accurate. For years we've bought real trees and gone to the trouble of transporting them home, cleaning up the mess, watering and cleaning up the mess, then disposing of the mess and...cleaning up. This year we were concerned that our little one would hit it off and supplement his diet with pine needles or drink unpleasant tree water, so this year we switched to artificial. For the past few years we've avoided artificial materials simply because we didn't have space to store them for the other 11 months of the year and we figured if it was too much to store we'd just donate it. We were pleasantly surprised that the box was only about 3 feet long and 5 or 6 inches square, so it's definitely easy to store. It is enough for the woman to get rid of three pairs of shoes and they fit perfectly on the shelf (yes, right). Okay I bet it looks cheap I thought. It really isn't if you take the time to fluff it properly. You won't mistake it for a $600 tree, but once it's adorned with decorations and lights, you really can't easily tell it's not real unless you sit and stare at it. So if you're the type of person who likes to sit and stare at things for long periods of time, you should probably spend your money on professional help rather than a Christmas tree, or at least this one, but I digress. Especially when the room is dark, you can't tell anything except for the lights on the tree. It chipped a bit during installation, but cleaning up was quick and easy - not at all like new real wood... not to mention it dries and can be disposed of. Hopefully this will stop completely after it has been processed more. Although it's definitely a goalkeeper. Looks great, easy to put together and more than meets our needs until we move to a larger space. Even then, we'll probably keep it. The only thing I have is that the point at the top is thin and won't hold anything heavy, be it a giant star or an angel or Al Roker or whatever politically correct crap you want to put in there if it's heavy is. Piece of shit. Modern Al Roker might fit, but you can forget about old-school Al when you go up there. But we've done our excellent job (sorry Al) and you could probably improve it yourself if you needed it with a little ingenuity. Don't miss the cleaning and the constant need to feed and water the real tree, haul it in, haul it out, buy garbage bags... Oh, and it's a huge plus to keep your little one healthy and safe during the holidays to hold to.
