Very strong but unusual D-ring placement

I bought this leash for my Aussies who like to pull and have had a lot of good experiences with bungee cords. bungee It stretches out before you feel a lot of pressure on your arm, but is snug enough to handle the average power pull of my 35-40 pound Aussies. The clip is really cool, I've never had one and it's become my new favorite because it's very easy to get off with when the dogs are horny when we come in the door after a walk. The rubber grip next to the clip is a nice and practical alternative to a plain rope, but it's quite large so the rubber part can slip off if you grab it quickly and you can grab the material of the leash instead. The grip has soft padding and a cool rubber band that tightens the grip around your wrist so you don't have to hold it directly. The seat belt buckle is in a handy position when you let your dog lean out the window, while other leashes tend to place the buckle too close to the clip for the dog to enjoy the view out the car window. My only complaint is that the D-ring is so close to the handle and clamp. These D-rings are mainly used for poop bags, I'm not sure if there's any other purpose. Typically, D-ring bags hang near the handle. But it hangs just over a foot from the clip, meaning that if you're hanging a poop bag holder from it, it's going to be swinging and bouncing off your dogs the entire time. Luckily, you can just hang poop bags on your seatbelt buckle, and it's just behind the handle, usually where the D-ring is, so you don't have to use the cumbersome D-ring. Unfortunately, I cannot imagine the usefulness of the built-in D-ring. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who has a dog between 35 and 40 pounds and enjoys the features advertised.
