Review on 🧢 Large Yarn Ball Winder for Fiber Craft: Hand-Operated Bobbin Winder - 10.23 x 7.08inch Spinning Tool by Angela Rodriguez

If your thread supply needs to be organized, you NEED this thread winder

These winder types are usually very expensive. I've bought one from a foreign seller before in this e**y auction. The post office said they had delivered it but when I got home it wasn't there. When I saw this at Revain for a very affordable price I bought it. Since then I've rewound almost every partially used skein in the house. Do you know a popular cake yarn like Caron Cakes? So it is wind. This makes a very neat, compact cake weighing up to 10 ounces. I've always worried that a center post that's too big will leave a hole in the middle of the cake. This winder doesn't do that. When the cake is removed from the post, the tension of the cake will suck that hole in. BIG NOTE: They need time to learn how to raise properly. It's not difficult, but if you don't do it right, your yarn will get tangled in the gears. You must, must, MUST pull the thread with one hand and wind it with the other. It will NOT work otherwise as the yarn must not be slack. What I do is roughly 30-50 strokes from my skein straight onto the living room floor in a giant U shape. Then I thread the winder, pull the yarn in front of the vertical stand with the eyelet with my left hand and start winding it slowly clockwise with my right hand. Don't pull too hard, just enough to prevent sagging. NEVER roll back. Clockwise only. If something goes wrong because you've adopted Slack, you'll be tempted to rewind to fix it. I can't stress this enough don't do this. Just stop and straighten up. When I wrap up everything that was on the floor, I do another Wu on the floor and do it again. Once you get the hang of it, it's addictive.
