I CAN write a long review for all the reasons why I shouldn't buy this table, but I don't have to. All you have to do is read all the 1, 2 and 3 star reviews and select all the negative comments and there it is, that would be my rating in very, very big words. Everything bad that everyone else writes about this table is true. I wish "I" had read these reviews before buying this table, but I was in a hurry to get a new table as my old one was held together with cardboard and tape. I loved the look of this table and especially the fact that it had TWO vertical table supports instead of one like the last two tables I bought. These two vertical supports REALLY make the table more solid as the top doesn't tilt down and forward like my last two did. The finish of the metal parts is very nice, and the color and texture of the chipboard is very nice. Too bad the finish on the two largest boards was badly scratched, dented, dented, chipped and otherwise damaged. The screws are easy to tighten, one of the wheels broke off with a simple hand tightening and is now sitting at an angle ready to fall out at any moment. Wheels made out of VERY cheap and flimsy plastic. The holes in the frame are very large compared to the thin screws that go into them and therefore cannot be centered during assembly. The screw heads are JUST large enough not to be pulled out through a hole in the frame. It's easy to overtighten the screws so that they push the frame inward as you tighten. The plastic inserts for screwing pressed into the chipboard parts can be easily removed or pulled out of the board because they are not glued. The inserts in the top plate slide out easily during assembly. There isn't room on the screws that screw into the top plate to pinch them to tighten them at the top, so you have to carefully guess where to put the pliers and then when you overtighten them (easy to do), then either pull it out of the top plate, or push the bolt through the top plate. There are no pre-marked or drilled holes in the keyboard tray to show you where to install the guide. Mounting the rail to the frame leaves exposed bolts and nuts that I keep scratching at. The guide is coated in grease on the outside of the guide so you lubricate your hands and anything else you touch during assembly and there is very little grease in the guide at the bearings where it should be. The base plate is pushed forward so far that there is nowhere to put your feet when working at the table. The mount for the swiveling mouse pad stand is very poorly constructed and the board falls off after a short time and cannot be pushed completely under the table top. I would really like to return this table for a refund and WOULD DO IT except the box it came in was too badly damaged to repack which means I have to find a new box of the right size must to send it back. Also, I have to take the desk apart and have nowhere to put the computer until I buy a new desk. Also, the table arrived two days after my 3 week hospitalization for a VERY RARE but also VERY BAD reaction to the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. So by the time I assemble everything to send it back for a refund I will already be past the return date. Having all the tools and skills to do so, I will beef up and rebuild the spreadsheet as needed to get it working as it should right away. This means buying new heavy duty wheels. Reinforcement of the floor panel and how it attaches to the frame. A design change or simply doing away with the pivoting mouse pad. Reinforcement of the attachment method of the upper part to the frame. As well as a number of other minor changes and additions. The only thing I don't have is a welding machine so I can reinforce any spots on the frame that are barely welded in place. Again, all negative ratings and comments are VERY ACCURATE and VERY TRUE. PLEASE LISTEN TO THEM AND Spend your money on another product with better reviews. I seriously cannot understand how this table managed to get an overall rating of 3.7 stars. I also don't understand how anyone can rate it 5 stars. Oh sorry, I almost forgot one thing. There is no legroom under the table as the floor panel almost reaches the front of the frame, making it EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE to sit behind it when you are using it. This is of course for my personal use case i.e. laptop. It might be more convenient to use and at least offer some legroom if you're using a computer with a separate monitor and keyboard, assuming you can attach a keyboard drawer and work properly. I REALLY, REALLY wish I could give this table a better rating. As I said, it LOOKS good (apart from the badly scratched pieces of wood) and the double vertical supports make it much stronger and give it a more durable look (except for the cheap material which, if not reinforced, results in a short lifetime leads). And a FINAL note, please DO NOT let my negative comment about MY poor response to the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine trick you into NOT getting vaccinated. Like I said, that was a VERY, VERY RARE reaction. I developed an uncomfortable rash which disappeared in a very short time (just a few days of treatment) after treatment with a topical cream. I've also had severe swelling (particularly below the waist) from excessive water retention, which has been treated very successfully with diuretics (water pills that make you pee a lot). THE MANDATORY THINGS Most people didn't have any SIDE EFFECTS to the vaccine or very minor reactions like a cold within a day or two. Please obtain one of the vaccines as soon as they are available to you. Let's all do our best to disable this virus and put an end to it.
