After braces, the distance between the teeth has become so small that cleaning the dental floss is uncomfortable. Pinching the floss between teeth caused pain and blood. Aside from having a permanent retainer on my teeth, I found it extremely difficult to use regular dental floss. After getting this irrigator my life is so much better, I no longer have to deal with all that blood, sore gums and using dental floss to thread between a permanent retainer.
