Allegedly live bacteria that act as a flocculant. So maybe I was unlucky to get a dead batch. Adding Clear-Up to remove fine solids in slightly cloudy water and adding the same amount of water produced exactly the same effect. Either all the bacteria were dead, or it only works in very cloudy water, or this product is complete crap. I've been using Seachem Clarity for a number of years now and I still have to see any negative effects from 'harmful' chemicals. . And Seachem Clarity really works, turning slightly or very cloudy water into crystal clear water in a matter of hours. Repeated uses of Clear-Up over three days only worsened my mood. sorry dr Tim. Either I have a dead batch of bacteria or your team will have to go back to the drawing board. On the other hand, your waste-away product that reduces organic waste build-up works pretty well.
