I bought these for my son for his birthday weekend. We are going to a monster truck rally and he is terrified of loud unexpected noises. I know he loves all things with wheels and has taken an interest in monster trucks. I wanted to make sure he had a great time with out being scared. My son will be six next week and is on the small side compared to most of his friends and school mates. They fit pretty snug and can be adjusted with ease but these are definitely not for adults even smaller adults. I did my own little test with them unleashing all the terrifying things in my house on my poor boy. The vacuum, loud music, playful shouting(my boyfriend is a loud laugher) He was unphased. I would recommend the ear protection for smaller kids.
