Review on Brushed Adhesive Drilling Protector Stronger by Gerardo Goodson

It's amazing how difficult it was to find a simple self adhesive doorstop like this. The product looks as advertised and appears to be durable. Star deducted for sticking. As long as it hasn't failed, I'll keep an eye on it. The reasons for my concerns are as follows: 1/ the stickers are not 3M but clearly a generic brand as they lacked the 3M logo on the back and 2/ the strength of the adhesive products was poor. First, when I removed the backing, the gel material stretched out like a fruity skin snack, and I had to reshape it into a smaller circle to fit the base of the cork. I'm worried that the unnamed glue will fail, combined with the fact that I had to reshape it myself, which can't improve its performance. Overall I give this product a good rating because it did what I wanted it to do at the right price, but I'm not happy that it came without the advertised 3M adhesive.
