The scale is accurate and easy to use. However, the display only lights up for about 8 seconds, after which it gets darker, but can be woken up again by another measurement or by pressing a tare. However, the scale turns off after 60 seconds. If you are taking consecutive measurements by taring between levels, you should have everything set up - otherwise the scale may go to sleep/switch off during ingredient preparation, causing you to lose your last measurement. It would be nice if the backlight stayed on for a minute instead of automatically turning off for 5 minutes - just in case you need to open another bag of flour or reach for a complicated recipe. The scale is easy to clean, compact and easy to use.
