I liked that at first glance they look very smooth and are of very high quality. HOWEVER I only used them today and the quality of the pencil is terrible. I used up the pre-sharpened tip of a 6B pencil and as soon as I started sharpening with a Staedler sharpener, which is my best sharpener for any type of pencil, the pencil started splitting in half and the tips broke again and again. This makes the material very difficult to use when I break the tip about half an inch in my pencil. I hate them and wish I could consider less than one star. These suck. Do not buy.
