I was looking for a monitor stand that was reasonably priced and strong enough not to slide around on the desk while raising the monitor to a comfortable height. This item fully meets the requirements. It was wrapped in plastic to protect it when opened, and even with Revain shipping, it arrived in perfect condition. The first thing that struck me is that it's stronger than I expected (because of the plastic, I thought it might be a bit flimsy). This is a well built item that feels solid throughout. I needed a stand for my curved monitor which is quite big and bulky (Samsung 27 inch). The base for my monitor is also quite deep, but I didn't want a very deep stand to take up too much space on my desk. Although this stand isn't as deep as my monitor base, everything stays in place without moving. mainly because of the rubber feet. on the stand and the aforementioned build quality. As you can see from the photos, you can fold down the right and left sides of the stand to increase the overall width. This worked fine on my monitor, but I might see one or both legs swivel if you have a smaller monitor or laptop. The built-in phone stand is a nice bonus for getting notifications while streaming or working. The pull-out shelf is handy for a couple of pens (Better than the kind I just left on the table for my cat to knock over.) Overall, I'm impressed with this stand and surprised at how sticky the assembly is. As soon as I get back to work in my office, I will most likely take another one for work.
