It's a bit silly that two arms cost almost as much as buying a new mount that includes them, but I've read that some people are buying cheap imitations of the original VIVO have stood so I thought it will be safer to buy braces (plus less metal waste for the world). The braces I received were strong and had good coverage (no chipping, warping, etc.). Comes with screws and standoffs to attach the arm to the monitor but not the nut that attaches it to the stand (which I also lost). I don't really think a nut is necessary, it's reliable enough unless you get a magnitude 6.0 quake or something.
